I look around
And there she is
That girl again
What's in her
That always gets my eye?
Her dark long hair?
Her sad expression?
Her deep dark eyes?
I have no clue
But every time I see her
I feel different
Like there's a ray of light
Piercing through the darkness
Of my soul
I feel almost...
Happy
I don't even know her name
We don't know each other
But when our eyes meet
I can almost feel
The pieces of my broken heart
Trying to put themselves
Back together
And there she is

Good Girl
"Good girl." He whispers quietly,
As I sit alone so silently.
"Good girl." He says on a note
That I'm not even sure he wrote.
"Good girl." He says so fast,
Just like he has in days past.
"Good girl." Instead of bye,
Leaving me alone to cry.
"Good girl" is not "I love you,"
But say that, he'll never do.
"Good girl." For not talking.
"Good girl." For not asking.
"Good girl." He says no more,
For this good girl is out the door.

Fearing Me
I'm not afraid to cry
and I do it
a lot more than you would guess.
It isn't always sadness,
sometimes
I just feel like I need to,
sometimes I
feel everything so strongly
that it's the only way
to let go for a moment
because if I hold on for too long,
if my grip gets too tight
I'll break myself,
I will break you like glass
and we will both
bleed.
I am a good guy
who hasn't yet found a way
to show it,
I am a good guy
who still identifies with the villains,
who still
hides everything important
and reveals
anything to throw you
off of my trail....
and I don't know why,
but I am trying.
Maybe I think
that if you could see me,
the real me,
you w

Are You Awake?
Alice darling,
It's time to get up.
Wake up little sleepy head,
You fell asleep on my lap.
It's time for tea Alice,
I finished your lesson,
The book was read and closed,
While you were off in your dreams.
Was it lovely Alice?
So content in your sleep you were,
Barely a peep or snore from your lips,
Till those silly leaves fell on you.
Come along dear Alice,
There is no time for sleeping now,
Oh look over there sweet sister,
A little white rabbit it poking out of a hole!
Why do you grin so Alice,
Do you know that little hare?
On yes ask a silly question,
A raven is nothing like a writing desk.
Are you sure you're awake Alice,

It's about the girl I mentioned in my last journal. Obviously.
